When he signed for T.P Mazembe in 2020, he finished the season as one of the top scorers in the domestic league having found the back of the net six times.
The league’s top scorer was former teammate Jackson Muleka who had scored 12 times but considering that he had been at the club for longer, Tumetuka’s performance was commendable.
He started his career at Don Bosco also based in Lubumbashi where he stayed for one season.
Don Bosco serves as a feeder for T.P Mazembe and it didn’t long for his potential to be noticed as he was quickly snapped up by the moneyed DRC giants.
At 23, Tumetuka still has a long way to go but he remains one of the pillars for Mazembe as they rebuild their squad to once again rule Africa.
He played three times for the national in 2019 and scored three goals an impressive statistic for a relatively young play. He is likely to be one of the biggest talents in the African Super League (AFSL).
