As it is, a goalkeeper always gets better with age and the same can be said of Barinyima who continues to be the first choice at Enyimba since he joined three years ago.

He honed his skills at Togolese side ASC Kara where he spent a record eight years from 2012 to 2020.

While at Kara, he won the Togolese national championships in 2019 something that attracted Enyimba to sign him.

He made shortlist to the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations finals that was held in Cameroon being part of the 28 man Super Eagles squad.
