The Algerian striker has made himself indispensable for the Tunisian side since he joined in 2022.

Though he has scored just two goals in 15 matches, he has continued to show the potential that he has a lot to offer in the coming months.

He started his career at Algerian side Paradou AC in 2017 staying at the club for five years having scored 11 goals in 64 matches. The club was promoted to the top Algerian league a year after Banayard had signed for them as the team won the championships.

Having won the Algerian Cup a record eight times, it was at Setif that the young striker was sure he could have a chance to play at an even bigger level.

After just one season at the club and having scored seven goals in 20 matches, Esperance came calling at the start of the 2022 season.

It was the same year he was called up to the national team when they beat Tanzania 2-0 in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
