Wydad Athletic Club have named a new goalkeeper trainer ahead of their African Football League (AFL) match.
The club announced on their website the appointment of Abdel Aziz Amdoui to replace Rachid El Mekkawi.
Amdoui assumed his duties this week, as he supervised the training of the Red Team’s goalkeepers during the last session, after the departure of El-Makawi, for health reasons.
Sayed Abdel Aziz Amdoui previously worked with Wydad Sports Club for, in various capacities.
Meanwhile, Wydad Athletic Club have signed Moroccan defender Jamal Harkas on a free transfer deal.
His signing is expected to strengthen the first team. Harkas joined the team this week and was able to train with the rest of the squad.
Wydad will take on Democratic Republic of Congo side T.P Mazembe in the third quarter-final match of the AFL
